I'm so annoyed by this difference between ideal and reality every single morning.

Despite I study English everyday, I can't speak English. Also accurate writing, too.

I want to be specialist in linguistics.

I just want to proficiently use every languages in the world.

But my faculty can not afford to put it into practice.

This is why I feel so angry about me.

And this is all I wanna say.

How do I learn English

Please allow to add something superfluous.

I'll write some methods what I have done to learn English.

Reading a vocabrary book & make cards

When I was a high school student, I had read vocabrary book named "Target 1900".

And now I'm reading same book to enrich my vocabraries.

If I found a word I haven't saw, I write it on a ward card.

It's same sized as a name card.

I write the word at one side, then I write the mean of the word at the other side.

So, this is a vocabrary card.

Sometime, I shuffle these cards and pick one of these, then I check my memory.

Reading news in English

Do you know 'Polyglots'?

It's an application of a smartphone (iTunes store / Google play).

Polyglots is news application.

I can read a lot of news on it in English.

News are classified as these genre - ordinary, music, technology, animals and so on.

I just select one and read it when I'm going to home.

Polyglots often notifies by a push notification ( iPhone and other major devices have a function to notify their master by sound or a vibration ).

When he do so, It's a time to set me a problem of English words.

These words are chosen from words that I looked up the meanings of these when I was reading some news on Polyglots.

Ofcourse, Polyglots provides me function that I can look up meanings easily and fast.

Listening a podcast

Every morning I go to my office by walking, you know.

I listeng a podcast named "ESL( English as a Second Language )" when I'm walking.

This podcast is managed by Dr.Lucy Tse and Dr.Jeff McQuillan.

Dr.Lucy Tse writes scripts for reading assumed a conversation.

Dr.Jeff McQuillan is the host for the podcast.

He reads scripts and explains words in scripts and frequently introduces American affairs.

In this podcast, first He reads a script slowly.

Then he explains a script and introduces something.

At last, he reads the same script again, but he reads it at normal speed.

I feel a little strange because I can hear his saying at last section.

I feel my slowly advance of listening English.

English as a Second Language Podcast

Saying a short sentence

I don't know that this method is useful or unuseful for my pronunciation.

I sometimes say short sentences or words.

I think I learn proper pronunce of English words maybe.

Going English lesson

My English lesson starts at Wednesday, last week.

My teacher and I spoke about my hope and my job because it's first lesson.

I hope to improve my English to where I can speak in a business situation.
